About Bill: Since 1960 he has been working in West Africa improving the lives of the African people. He works with the Ministers and other heads of State in the development of host countries providing economic development and taking 10% of all profits to improve the lives of children.
In doing this he raises funds through getting people involved with any type funding available including but not limited to grants, contributions, donations, and fund-raising concerts. If you have an interest in any of these areas please contact [email protected]
Along with his good friend, now deceased, President Kwame Nkrumah of the Rep of Ghana Bill raised and provided funding for the freeway connecting the capital city Accra to the Cape Coast, and all major cities. Additionally, he developed the first student exchange program with City College in Harlem NYC and other development projects.
His work also took him to Rep. of Guinea where he successfully created
- contracts with client AT&T for gold bars. He worked with the miners, smelting the dust into bars, providing a reliable independent assay, and safely delivering the goods to their smelting plant in New York
- a battery factory
- lottery for developing funds for an educational system
- a joint-venture partnership and expanded the telephone system by laying two additional trans-Atlantic cables
- a joint-venture partnership with Korean companies which remove much of the scrap metal left by the French
Additionally, Bill Burnes supplied hospitals with x-ray equipment and medical supplies; worked with Mme Roughy Barry, Mayor of Matam and re-opened a plant that produced tomato products; and so much more.
In the Ivory Coast he is now negotiating with Ambassador at Large, Roger Die, to bring the WEDU ORIGO Children's Hospital Resort to the country. Additionally he has been gifted 135 hectares of virgin wooded land to develop a sustainable city. Currently he is developing team, and funding for this project.
